(2/22/05) Jazz can encompass a wide variety of music. I will be focusing my discussions on a soloist in a small ensemble. In short, a small ensemble consisting of: Saxophone (or other solo instrument), guitar, keyboard, bass, and percussion. I will also be touching on short solos in regular size jazz bands.
